The Australian Ballet Live: The Nutcracker

Thursday Dec 12 | 6:15pm

Broadcast live in real time from the Sydney Opera House to the big screen! With Christmas just around the corner, there's no better way to celebrate the holidays than with Sir Peter Wright's enchanting classic ballet.

Brought to the stage by The Australian Ballet, and remaining faithful to the 19th-century original, this very special live cinematic event invites you to rediscover the childlike joys of the season or create your own family tradition. Be filled with the Christmas spirit by whirling snowflakes, band-box soldiers, a magical Christmas tree, a Sugar Plum Fairy in luscious candy-floss pink - all set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score. Don't miss this one-off opportunity to be captivated by the beloved ballet as it unfolds live before your eyes!
